If your decision is to age in place in the home that you love, Home Transition Resource can help make this a reality by assisting with the necessary steps to improve your home for future livability. We can help you declutter and downsize, assist you with improvements that could free a home of the physical barriers that may cause injury, and suggest upgrades that would improve your overall quality of life. Our initial consultation is the first step to modifying and improving your environment, so that you can feel comfortable and safe in your own home.
As members of the National Aging In Place Council, we keep up to date on aging trends and work with other professionals to advocate for the proactive planning for future housing and care needs.
Services include but are not limited to:
- A complimentary in-home consultation to discuss your needs and wishes.
- Provide a Safety Checklist Review to identify and prioritize areas of concern throughout your home.
- Sort, organize, pare down and disperse of personal items in order to "right size" your home.
- Arrange appraisals, on-line sales, donations and gifts of items no longer needed or useful.
- Provide assistance with moving from two-story living to one and arrange your home for comfortable living.
- Recommend and coordinate upgrades and improvements to make your home safe and "senior-friendly".
- Assist in ordering furnishings suitable for your new lifestyle.
Rates
A complimentary no obligation consultation will determine the scope of work and time frame. We will provide you with a service recommendation and contract. Together we will determine the best plan of action.
Charges are based on a combination of hourly fees and flat rates.
